In August 1982, he joined LOYRA- Abogados y Asesores, as an specialist in public, tax, and corporate law.
He holds a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid.
He also earned a graduate degree in Management Consultancy from the Complutense University of Madrid (School of Legal Practice).
He is a senior specialist (from 1982) in gaming law in several jurisdictions advising clients from Spain, United Kingdom, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States in regulatory and licensing.
He has served as technical secretary and advisor to several business associations in the Gaming Industry. Furthermore, he is the author of numerous articles and reports on topics related to general legislation and taxation of gaming activities.
He is also a founding member of the ¨CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS DE LEGISLACIÓN SOBRE EL JUEGO¨ (CELEJ), [¨Gaming Legislation Studies Centre¨].
He is co-author of the compilation on the Gaming industry ¨LEGISLACIÓN SOBRE EL JUEGO¨[¨GAMING LEGISLATION¨], coauthor of the book “GAMING LAW IN SPAIN” published by Thomson- Aranzadi in 2005. He habitually collaborates with Spanish and foreign newspapers and magazines with articles and legal opinions in the Gaming Law field. Expert speaker in conferences.
He is a member of the Advisory Counsel of the Instituto Fermín Caballero, area of Leisure and Entertainment, of the Carlos III University.
